Picture it: a mom goes from Target to Walmart looking everywhere for the K-Pop Demon Hunters Valentine’s Day exchange cards for her daughter. They sell out almost as soon as they hit the shelf, but bingo! She finally finds two boxes and snaps them up faster than you can say vertubenflugen! That mom…was me. It was all worth it, though, because along the way inspiration struck.
We’re goin’ up, up, up, it’s our moment!
You know together we’re glowin’.
Gonna be, gonna be golden…
Ok, maybe my fandoms were staring to collide in some unexpected ways, but like Rose I had a thought (congratulations!): Hallmark has Golden Girls Valentine’s Day greeting cards, but why aren’t there any exchange cards like the ones we all loved when we were kids? So I decided to create my own, and share them with all of you! For the fans!!!

I had a ton of fun designing these to look like the exchange cards that you can buy in the store while also including a little retro, Miami style. I really hope you love them, too! Just click the link above to download the printable PDF. It includes two sets of Golden Girls Valentine’s Day exchange cards featuring quotes from the show. And look: it’s Coco!

Pro tip: if you don’t have Adobe Acrobat or a PDF viewer on your computer just right click the file, hover over “Open with” and then choose your preferred browser to open the file. Honestly, this is the way I prefer to open PDFs that I’m going to print because sometimes things can get a little shifty in Acrobat. From there, click on the print icon, and under “More settings” check the box next to “Print on both sides.” Make sure you the box below is set to “Flip on long edge,” too. Once they’re all printed just cut them out along the white edge, fold, and write in the to and from spaces on the backs! Seal them with heart stickers for that special finishing touch.

I decided to create two sets of cards because I figured you probably can’t give a “Yippee-i-o, K-Y!” or slut puppy card to just anybody, but the quotes are too good to leave out! There are also two general cards with “Thank you for being a friend!” on them for those who may not be as familiar with the other lines from the show. Plus, those cards are perfect for younger fans of the show if they want to share these at school. You could even include them as part of a St. Olaf Fun Pack! Or bake up a batch of Sperheoven Krispies—the possibilities are endless! Just remember: we always dress for dinner here. Happy Valentine’s Day!
