This year has been an amazing year for Golden Girls merchandise, and I’m sure there’s more great stuff on the way in 2021. One of the things that we still haven’t seen much of, though, is Golden Girls stationery. Hallmark came out with some fun greeting cards this year, and creators like Greg’s Celeb Art and Alan Ronay have super cute journals, stickers, and cards in their online shops. But I’m still waiting for officially licensed things like floaty pens and sticky note sets!

Snail mail has also seen a resurgence during the pandemic as a way to reach out to family and friends or even to “meet” new people by writing a good old fashioned letter. In the earlier days of quarantine, writer Rachel Syme started Penpalooza on Twitter to connect people during the pandemic. It’s been a long time since I’ve had pen pals, and I’ve really enjoyed sending and receiving letters again. Pen pals are even mentioned twice on The Golden Girls! Who can forget Merrill, Blanche’s prison pen pal, and Sophia’s chess-by-mail partner, Seraphina?

Well, I don’t know why it took me so long, but I finally realized that I could just make my own Golden Girls stationery, and of course I’m sharing it with all of you, too. Now you can write to all of your friends and family in Miami style!

It includes five, full-color designs with images and other elements inspired by the show. There’s even a sheet with blank speech bubbles to fill in with your favorite quotes or create your own Golden Girls-inspired scene! These were so much fun to create, and I really hope you enjoy them!
